Calendars FAQs
Updated this week

How many pages do calendars have?

Depending on the format, our calendars will have 13 pages for a Double A4 size (large landscape) or 7 pages for the rest of the sizes.

The last page is blank, and you will not be able to add an extra picture on the last page. You can upload as many photos as you would like. 13 photos are the minimum, and a maximum of 48 photos can be placed on the inner pages of the calendar (if you choose 4-photo layouts). All photos you have uploaded will be available to select from when you press the Images option.

Please Note: All calendars will be printed on both sides of the pages. We do this for environmental reasons and we only use methods and paper certified on our calendars for eco-friendliness and produce close to the delivery address, all of which reduce carbon emissions.

Can I order a calendar in advance and have it shipped later?

No, this is not possible. Once you place the order your calendar will be sent to print immediately and how it looks in the preview in the basket is how it will be printed. We update the calendars for the next year well ahead of Christmas so that you can order a calendar in time.

How can I change the calendar size?

You can select the format of the calendar by clicking on the icons showing the different formats underneath the design on the design page (the page where you select the calendar you want to create).

Once you have begun creating the calendar, it is unfortunately not possible to change the format/size, and you must go back to the design page to select the format. It is also not possible to change the format/size of the calendar that you already made. If you want to reorder a calendar and want it in a different format/size, you need to create a new calendar back from scratch and choose the format/size you want for the calendar.

Is the ‘Optimalprint’ logo printed on calendars?

The Optimalprint logo is not printed on calendars.

What guidelines should I know when I submit my photos for a calendar?

For optimal results, we recommend to follow the guidelines below:

  • Avoid using photos obtained from messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, iMessage, Instagram, and Facebook, as the quality may have been compressed.

  • Whenever possible, use the original photos. If you receive an image from a friend or family member, kindly ask them to send you the file via email, Google Photos, or Dropbox, as these platforms do not compress files.

  • Provide the original photo taken with your digital camera, preferably in the highest resolution available (measured in pixels/DPI). A minimum resolution of 300 DPI is required to ensure sharp printing quality.

  • For photo collages, it's advisable to utilize smaller-sized photos because they undergo compression to fit the frame. Uploading photos with excessively high resolutions may result in pixelation.

Calendars are currently not available on the new website. We're currently working on adding them back. Thank you for your patience.
