We want you to receive and enjoy your order as soon as possible. For this, we send all orders to print 30 minutes after your order was confirmed.
However, we understand that sometimes you need to modify, correct text or cancel an order. Therefore, you can cancel it within 30 minutes after placing the order. Otherwise, it will go into production, and cancellation will no longer be possible. Once production starts, the order is locked, and no modifications or cancellations can be made.
To cancel an order, please follow the steps below:
1. From your Optimalprint account, go to Your Orders.
2. Find the order you want to cancel and click on “Cancel Order”.
3. Select the reason to cancel from the pop-up notification drop-down list and click on “Confirm”.
Once an order is successfully cancelled, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation.
Your money will be automatically refunded.
*Please note that bank processing typically takes 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider. This delay depends on your bank or payment processor's policies. By understanding the expected timeline, customers can plan accordingly and avoid unnecessary follow-ups. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during your purchase. If you experience delays beyond this timeframe, contacting Optimalprint support for assistance is advisable.
Common Reasons for Order Cancellation Additional reasons include issues such as errors in uploaded designs or last-minute changes in order details before production.
Orders may be canceled as a precautionary measure to avoid errors or complications. For instance, if the design submitted for an order contains the same names across all items, the system may trigger an automatic cancellation to ensure the order details are reviewed and corrected before production begins.
Placing a New Order After Cancellation
If you wish to replace the canceled order, you can do so by ensuring that the order details are revised and corrected (e.g., updating design elements) to move forward smoothly. This proactive step helps avoid further cancellations. Taking the time to carefully review order details before submission can also prevent cancellations in the first place.
