We use lined plywood for the wood print with birch for the outer layer, where the photo will be printed.
Thickness: our wood product is offered in two thicknesses
Thin: 8mm-12mm (0.35-0.47in)
Thick 18mm-20mm (0.70-0.75in)
Your photos will be printed onto the surface of the wood and because we use a printing process that leaves out the white inks the wood grain remains clearly visible in the bright parts of your picture.
Tip: Given the fact that wood is a natural surface which has an aleatory pattern, sometimes it can have minor imperfections which are not visible in the preview. Therefore, we recommend using nature and landscape images for these instead of people and portrait images, as the imperfections or subtle changes in the colour of the wood's natural texture can sometimes be located on a face, which can affect the end result of the print.

Hanging Kits:
For thin wood print:
Metal hook: Attach a metal hanger with double-sided tape on the backside of the wood board. A foam block is fixed to the bottom of the print so it hangs straight down on the wall.
For thick wood prints, there are 2 possibilities:
1: Wood prints are equipped with a groove, which means that you can hang the board with a screw.
2: Milled slots on the back of the wood with wall mounting hangers make it possible to hang the wood photo prints.
Note: It is not possible to choose a specific type of hanging kit for your wood print. The hanging kit included with your order depends on production availability.

Once you've picked out the perfect wood print type on the product page, you'll seamlessly transition to our intuitive design editor.
Our Wood Print design editor is user-friendly and straightforward, offering the following features:
On the left side you have the main categories of tools: “Gallery”, “Layouts” and “Formats”.
⤷ Gallery - will allow you to upload a file (you can upload them either straight from your device or Google Photos, Facebook, Instagram, or Dropbox. Please make sure the images are high resolution and with a DPI over 300.
⤷ Layouts - reveals all the available layouts of the design, including collages.
⤷ Formats - will allow you to choose the following specifications:
✔ Thickness - standard or premium
✔ The orientation of the foam print between Landscape/Horizontal, Portrait/Vertical, or square.
✔ The format, includes multiple sizes for the wood print.
Clicking on it grants you access to select a file from your uploaded options. Move images around to get them just right. And don't forget to zoom in for precision!
When you click on an added image, buttons materialize above the design:
Undo and Redo actions
Zoom mode for closer inspection
Rotation options
Horizontal and vertical flipping buttons
Crop tool for customizing the image within the design.
At the top, you have a summary of the product specifications you have chosen.
At the top-right, you have the "Save to drafts", "Add to basket" and "Preview".
At the bottom right, you have the zoom option once again.
Important:
Before placing your order, it's crucial to review the preview to ensure everything is as you want it.
Should you encounter an error message, don't overlook it. Follow the instructions provided, usually indicating an issue with the image.
Remember, the maximum image size allowed is 30 MB, and we accept JPEG and PNG formats.

Wood prints are made from natural materials, so minor imperfections in the wood may occur. These can include small splinters, wood knots, and natural variations in colour and texture, which may affect the overall appearance of the final product.
For this reason, we recommend using nature or landscape images rather than portraits or photos of people. Natural wood variations can sometimes appear on facial areas, which may impact the final result.
If you prefer a smoother finish without natural imperfections, we also offer other wall art options such as posters, canvas prints, acrylic prints, and aluminium prints.
